Biographie
Tanguy Quidelleur holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Paris Nanterre. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the European Center for Sociology and Political Science (CNRS, University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, and EHESS) as part of the IRSEM "Résident" program. He was previously a Postdoctoral Visiting Fellow at the Conflict Research Group (CRG) at Ghent University, as well as at the Institute for Social Sciences of Politics (CNRS – ENS Paris-Saclay – University of Paris Nanterre). He is also a graduate of the University of Rennes 1 and Marmara University in Istanbul, and has taught at various French and Belgian universities.
His research focuses on the impacts of armed conflicts on populations, the armed and political mobilizations that emerge from them, the dynamics of security privatization, international interventions, and state restructuring processes. Since 2017, he has conducted several field studies in Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, and Mali.
